Who We are
Dynamic Dance Machine is Jay Litten aka DJ J-lit. Jay is a lover of all music, but especially music that makes it hard to resist moving your body. Although he is fresh on the wedding scene, Jay got his first turntables at the age of 11, beginning a lifelong obsession with the craft. His journey began in the world of competitive DJ battling, and he was fortunate enough to be mentored by a handful of award winning battle DJs. As his skills and musical repertoire expanded, Jay also began to see how good DJing could keep a crowd energetic and enthusiastic, while bad DJing could do the opposite. While he's been known to rock a party from time to time, he's exciting to be focusing on bringing his experience to a wedding near you.
Our Process
We start prepping for every event long before the day of. We value getting to know couples we spin for so that we provide a unique experience tailored to you. Throughout the process we'll collaborate with you to make sure we get every detail right.
Once you contact us we'll schedule an introductory video chat to get to know each other so you can determine if we're the right fit for your big day. If we decide to work together, we'll lock in your date and schedule a second meeting where go over our wedding planning form and talk in depth about your wedding day and how we can make it sound perfect. As your date approaches, we'll schedule a final check-in to go over any loose ends.
Pricing & Packages
We like to keep things simple, so we don't have a bunch of packages or upgrades. Every event we do comes with everything we think you'll need to create a night to remember. So for the base price of $600 you'll get:
> 5 hours of DJing, mixing, and MCing for your reception
> A sound system loud enough for 200 people
> Uplighting to set the mood and light the dance floor
> Pre-planning sessions with the DJ
If you want us to provide sound for your ceremony, it is an extra $200. Music for cocktail hours is $100. We might need to adjust pricing based on your specific needs or other factors, but that's basically it!
